maritime industry on the 9th February 2021, about the revocation of Malaysian Shipping Notice <a href="https://www.marine.gov.my/jlm/admin/assets/uploads/files/notis/50257-msn192020.pdf" target="_blank">(MSN) 19/2020</a>.</p><p>MSN 19/2020 notified the shipping
community of Marine Department's intention to prohibit any
foreign flagged vessels from operating or
providing marine services in any
Malaysian ports.</p><p>The types of marine services covered
under the prohibition were i. Bunkering; ii. Supply of fresh water;
iii. Transport of ships waste (Sludge,
Slop, etc.) iv. Supply of provisions;
v. Transport of garbage; and
vi. Harbour tug.</p><p>Manning of the said vessels must be
Malaysian. For vessels which are
manned by foreign seafarers, vessels
owner/operator must comply to the given timeline below: </p><p>i. From 1 January 2021 until 31
December 2021 – 50%; </p><p>ii. From 1 January 2022 until 30
June 2022 – 75%; and </p><p>iii. From 1 July 2022 onwards –

pengambilan ubat atau sesi pertemuaan dengan pemeriksa kesihatan secara berterusan. </p><p>3.4. Penguasaan Bahasa Malaysia dan Bahasa Inggeris pemohon mestilah pada tahap yang sangat
memuaskan. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>4. TEMUDUGA CALON </b></p><p>4.1. Pemohon yang layak ditemuduga akan diberikan tarikh dan tempat temuduga oleh urusetia
KWPPL. Sekiranya calon temuduga sedang berkhidmat pada tarikh tersebut, calon dikehendaki
mengemukakan bukti yang kukuh. </p><p>4.2. Jika terbukti dan diterima oleh urusetia KWPPL bahawa calon tidak dapat menghadirkan diri ke
sesi temuduga pertama kerana sedang berkhidmat di atas kapal, beliau diberikan kelonggaran
untuk menghadirkan diri pada satu (1) kali sesi temuduga yang seterusnya. </p><p>4.3. Permohonan calon akan ditolak sekiranya:
- Gagal menghadiri kedua-dua sesi temuduga yang telah dinyatakan;
- Lewat menghadirkan diri mengikut masa yang ditetapkan;
- Tidak memberikan pengesahan terhadap maklum balas temuduga kepada pihak KWPPL;
- Tidak mematuhi syarat keterangan permohonan atau NMPM 1/2013;
- Menduduki/menyelesaikan kursus yang dimohon melebihi tempoh kelulusan penajaan yang
dibenarkan. </p><p>4.4. Calon yang berjaya pada sesi temuduga dan terpilih mendapatkan penajaan biasiswa KWPPL

than 90 billion rupees (£1 billion).<o:p></o:p></span></div>

recent meeting at the ILO in Geneva. The amendments will be submitted for
approval at the 28 May-8 June, 2018 International Labour Conference. ‘Tripartism

The Malta-registered Svetlana has been in Cardiff since 8 October 2016. The MCA had suspended their inspection and detained the vessel for a number of deficiencies and returned when the owner claimed to have rectified matters. ITF inspector Tommy Molloy discovered that since the crew had joined, only small, infrequent cash payments had been received. Mr Molloy also discovered that wages were the lowest he had seen for a long time and were certainly below the International Labour Organisation (ILO) minimum referred to in the Maritime Labour Convention 2006. He calculated the wages owed at the ILO minimum level and submitted the claim to the company, along with other amounts for additional work for which payment had been promised but never materialized. </span><br />
